Challenge
Inspection notes can become difficult to follow when they are spread across paper sheets and messages. Staff need to identify the equipment, record an observation and tell the next shift which checks remain open.
Proposed approach
A possible app would show assigned inspections, allow a short note or photograph and clearly distinguish records saved on the device from those received by the office. A supervisor view would group unresolved checks by area. Access rules and the handling of shared devices would be agreed before development.
How to evaluate it
A pilot would test missed checks, interrupted uploads and shift handovers with sample records. The team would compare completion records with its existing register. These are proposed acceptance checks, not measured client results.
